Itineraries
Day 1
Karachi to Islamabad
Departure from Karachi via Executive class bus service.
Day 2
Arrival in Islamabad; Departure for Chitral
Karachi participants. Arrival in Islamabad. Travel to the hotel/guesthouse via own conveyance (Careem/InDrive). Stay at hotel/guesthouse in Islamabad. Islamabad participants will join in. Departure for Booni/Mastuj.
Day 3
Islamabad to Booni/Mastuj
Breakfast in the morning. Arrival in Booni/Mastuj. Dinner & night stay in Booni/Mastuj.
Day 4
Booni/Mastuj to Broghol Valley
After having breakfast, departure from Booni/Mastuj to Garhil by 4x4 jeep. Stop for lunch in between. Dinner and night stay at Garhil in camps.
Day 5
Garhil to Sheorsheer via Darwaza Pass
After having breakfast, Trek to Sheorsheer via Darwaza Pass (optional/dependant on permission from authorities). Stop for lunch in between. Dinner & night stay at Sheorsheer in camps.
NOTE: Darwaza Pass allows you to visit the Afghanistan border from where you can see the Wakhan Corridor and Tajikistan in the distance.
Day 6
Sheorsheer to Karambar Lake
Wake up at 6:00am, have breakfast and start the trek towards Karambar Lake. Night stay at Karambar Lake (6-8 hours trek)
Day 7
Free Day at Karambar Lake
Wake up for sunrise photography. Breakfast at the campsite. Free day at Lake. Lunch, Dinner & Night Stay at Karambar Lake in camps.
Day 8
Karambar Lake to Lashkargaz Trek; Drive to Lasht
After having breakfast, trek towards Lashkargaz (7-8 hours)with a stop for lunch in between. Lashkargaz to Yarkhun Lasht via Jeep. Dinner & night stay at a guesthouse in Yarkhun Lasht.
Day 9
Lasht to Chitral
After having breakfast, departure for Chitral. Night stay in Chitral at hotel.
Day 10
Explore Chitral; Departure for Islamabad
Breakfast at Hotel. Visit Shahi Mosque
and fort. Lunch at a restaurant.
08:00 pm: Departure for Islamabad via Hindukush Heights Bus Service
(dinner not included)
Day 11
Arrival in Islamabad
Arrival in Islamabad in the morning. End of trip for the Islamabad participants. Night stay at guesthouse for Karachi participants. Dinner not included.
Day 12
Islamabad to Karachi
Departure for Karachi via Super Executive class bus service or train. Reach the station via your own conveyance (Careem/InDrive).
Day 13
Arrival in Karachi
Arrival in Karachi. Trip ends for participants from Karachi.
